5 Milestones to Making Artessa Your Home
Milestone 1: Visit Our Design Studio and/or Explore an Existing Community
Browse and get hands on with finishes, including flooring, countertops, cabinets, paint colors and more. Our Design Studio provides a convenient space to begin your personalization journey.
Milestone 2: Attend a Design Personalization Meeting
Work with your Design Project Manager to personalize your residence with key architectural, electrical and plumbing elements that align with your budget and interior style.
Milestone 3: Finalize Your Selections
You and your Design Project Manager will collaborate to finalize any adjustments to your home plan. The earlier you buy in, the more flexibility you’ll have to make changes during this stage!
Milestone 4: Attend “Exploration Tours”
During construction, you’ll get a chance to check in on your residence’s progress. Exploration Tours allow you to see your home for yourself, take measurements and watch your vision come to life.
Milestone 5: Completion Assurance & Move-In
We extensively review the finished conditions to ensure we meet or exceed your expectations for craftsmanship. After you walk through your new home and check all the boxes, it’s time to move in!

“I feel like I felt when I was 18 moving into the Freshman dorm [moving into a cooperative]. You’re preparing for a new chapter in your life. You look forward to it, you’re a little worried but you’re looking forward to it and everything will work out. You don’t look back.”
MELISSA
“I thought I would have to give up building things when I sold my house. Now I have the time, the space, and the tools to do what I love!”
PAT
“I’m excited (about cooperative living) because it will be different. I’ll have another family, an extended family.”
